We're happy to say that Twitter's API has now returned to normal service. As a result of this, the authentication process for adding new Twitter connections to your Buffer account is back up and running once again.

Investigating
We are aware that Twitter's authentication page for connecting accounts via its API is currently down, meaning that no new Twitter accounts are able to be connected to Buffer at the moment. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by this, whilst we wait for Twitter's API to be fully functional once again. We will monitor this situation and update our status page once we have more information.
